Teaching interests: Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian Language, Structure of Russian and Russian Functional Grammar, South Slavic Culture and Literature, Ottoman Bosnia.
Research interests: Slavic verbal aspect, cognitive linguistics.
Prof. Greenberg received his MA at the University of Chicago (1984) and PhD at UCLA (1990), both in Slavic linguistics. His work concerns Slavic diachrony and sociolinguistics.

Krzysztof is a Ph.D. candidate in Slavic Linguistics, trained in sociolinguistics and discourse studies. His main research interests include: online political discourse, language and identity, verbal violence and hate speech, and digital forums. In his dissertation he examines the interplay of language use and identity by looking at online discussions on Silesian identity in contemporary Poland, combining social and sociolinguistic theory with methods of (critical) discourse studies.
